Classes

Acting and Musical Theatre

One to one classes focusing towards a specific goal in Acting. To be initially held over zoom, with an aim to offer in person in the near future. This could include:

  • Monologue Masterclasses - Maybe you have an important audition coming up (Be it for Drama School or a Job) and want to work on a monologue. We can work with a focus on finding monologues if you haven’t landed on your choices yet, and then delve into the text and character of the chosen pieces.

  • Acting Through Song - From working on an already established song in your rep, to trying something new. We can work together with a focus on finding a connection between the actor and the character through the medium of song, and bringing out your best performance.

  • Scene Work - If you have a self tape coming up or a scene that you’d like some help with, we can work together to analyse the script and get the scene up on its feet. I could even be the reader for the recording of your tape if you’d like.

  • Anything You Want! - Let’s have fun with it! Maybe you don’t currently have a specific goal you’re working towards and just want to improve and work on some ideas. That’s great! Contact me and we can have a speak about what might be best for you :)

  • These sessions will initially be taken over zoom, with an aim to offer in person sessions in the future. Prices are as follows:

    • One 1 hour Session - £50

    • Three 1 hour Sessions - £40 each (£120 total)

Piano and Music Theory

One to one classes in Piano or Music Theory.

  • Piano Classes - Whether its working through ABRSM’s structured Graded Exams system or towards specific songs or styles you’re interested in, we can work to improve your technique and knowledge of the instrument.

For the graded system, I am able to offer lessons from Initial Grade to Grade 5, you can read more here on ABRSM’s Website.

  • Music Theory - Lessons in Music Theory are incredibly useful for musicians of many levels and experiences. Whether you have only just started to learn an instrument, or maybe you’ve passed your Grade 5 exam for your chosen instrument and need to pass the Grade 5 Theory Exam before you can progress further, or perhaps you’re an already established musician who wants to find a deeper understanding of music to enrich their choices when playing or writing, Music Theory can be incredibly helpful and interesting.

These classes will start by being structured to follow ABRSM’s Music Theory Graded Exams from grades 1 through 5. More info here. After an initial consultation I will find your level of knowledge and start you at an appropriate place. If you wish to continue after this, we can move into deeper areas away from the syllabus.

  • Piano lessons will be taken in person in a practice room booked in London, whilst Music Theory classes will be over zoom. Prices as follows:

    • Piano Class - £40 per class, or £180 for a pack of 5 classes (£36 each)
